I got a call from one of my buddies the other day. “Hey, we’re hitting the road this summer—want to bring the family and join us?” It didn’t take long to picture it: packing up the kids, the dogs, our ever-patient wives, and setting off on an unforgettable adventure.
There’s something undeniably magical about hitting the open road. No flight delays, no airport security, no lost luggage—just you, the road, and the great unknown (plus a few questionable gas station snacks).
Some families book fancy European vacations. I’ve seen EuroTrip. No thanks! Getting stranded in sketchy hostels and mistakenly ending up in Bratislava? Hard pass. Instead, let’s take inspiration from National Lampoon’s Vacation—because what could go wrong when you pile the whole family into an RV and head out on an epic adventure?
